Virtual Groups

I've signed up for a virtual community group through one of my new fave sits Leading and loving . The site is dedicated to encouraging women in ministry, and it has been to me over the last few months. I know I've posted about them before, about the JustOne conference a few months back. Anyway, I've joined a group and I'm really excited to see how it goes. We start in Feb and will meet once a month. My group is made up of all pastors wives. I'm looking forward to connecting w/ other ladies that we all have something in common. My experience is you don't know unless your in this role. Having other women to talk to and share w/ who are in this life is a HUGE comfort and encouragement. I just hate that it took so long for me to find it : ) I'll be posting about the things I learn and ways I'll be applying what I learn to my life . . Like a commentary hehehe

You Just Never Know

I've been doing this blog for a while, mainly its just an outlet for me to get thoughts out, to share the few things that I know or am learning. I don't think of myself as any kind of poetic writer - I leave that up to the people that get paid to do that - I'm just telling my thoughts. I have no clue who reads this, but thats not why I do this. Is it nice to know that people care about what we have to say? Yes! Is it nice to know that others care about what You have to say? Yes! I think about Twitter, and Facebook, and all the other social networks and laugh - b/c we think people really care about what we have to say/think/are doing/eat/breathing. We really think people care! I tweet a lot - Mark picks on my and says he knows what I'm doing all the time b/c I'm always posting - I'm on FB a lot too, so I laugh @ this too b/c its silly. Who cares? Who cares what I'm doing right now? I mean really - who cares that @ this moment I'm writing ...
